Chinese & Back > Owl City's "The Real World"

I saw the autumn leaves peel off the street,
Take wing on the warm breeze and sweep you off your feet.

You blushed as they scooped you sugar maple wings,
Staring down at the city below , shining wonderful things .

Downy feathers kiss your face , flapping everywhere.
Reality is a lovely place , but I do not want to live there.

I would not want to live there !

Moon lullaby from heavy cover and drag,
I know, because your smile your eyes you awake.

Downy feathers kiss your face , flapping everywhere.
Reality is a lovely place , but I do not want to live there.

From the green belt balcony , Wildfire looks very beautiful.
Ponderosa canopy, I will never leave , if it is decided by me.
Ruby redwood tree , and velvet climbing ivy :
Painted all mahogany, I'd never leave if it was up to me .

If it is me .. ..

A starry brush , paint Venice twilight blue,
Because at night , hush , you'll never believe the view .
And when the leaves return and their whisperings fill the night,
They 'll freeze and burn where fire and ice collide .

You can feel the embrace of silk satin air ?
If we dissolve without a trace , the real world does not care?
Downy feathers kiss your face , flapping everywhere.
Reality is a lovely place , but I do not want to live there.

I do not want to live there !

I saw the autumn leaves peel off the street,
Take wing on the warm breeze and sweep you off your feet.
