Chinese & Back > Owl City's "Hello Seattle"

Hello Seattle , I am a mountaineer
In the hills and plateaus
I fell asleep in the hospital parking lot
And awake in your mouth

Hello Seattle , I was manta rays
Under the deep blue waves
I'll crawl the sandy bottom of Puget Sound
And build a summer home

Hello Seattle , I was crescent
Shining in your face
I will disguise myself as a sleeping pill
And landed inside you

Hello Seattle , I am a cold seahorse
Warm feeling in your sand
I sing tidal and ocean surf
Rolling in the evening breeze

Hello Seattle , I am an albatross
Boats moored at the pier and
I sailed above the inlet and interstate highways
In the rain, wind and open

Hello Seattle , I am an old lighthouse
Throwing bright lights beam
Red in the morning , blue in the sunset
Prudent for everyone

Hello Seattle , I am a mountaineer
In the hills and plateaus
I fell asleep in the hospital parking lot

The lights above me
Carry me through the night
I promise to hold fast in flight
Sing me to sleep tonight

The lights above me
( Hello Seattle , I am a mountaineer )
Carry me through the night
( In the hills and highlands )
I promise to hold fast in flight
( I fell asleep in the hospital parking lot )
Sing me to sleep tonight
